Kyo Sa Nim David Weathers Born in the great state of Texas, David graduated from Bryan High School.  His college and professional career had him traveling from Bryan to Phoenix, Az, to San Antonio, Tx and finally back to Waco, Tx where he lives with his wife of eight years and his son.  He currenly works for Texas State Technical College as an instructor of 3D Animation and Mathematics. David has been a Tang Soo Do practioner since the Fall of 2003. His training started with Sa Bom Nim Brett Riley at the West Haven Academy of Karate in New Braunfels, Tx where he acheived the rank of Cho Dan (1st Degree Black Belt).  After moving to Waco in 2007, David has since continued his training at Belton Martial Arts Academy, helping to teach classses on a weekly basis.  In the Fall of 2009, Mr. Weathers successfully tested for and was promoted to the rank of Ee Dan (2nd Degree Black Belt) and then in the Fall of 2012 he tested for and was promoted to Sahm Dan (3rd Degree Black Belt) as well as Kyo Sa (Cenrtified Instructor). Although Kyo Sa Nim Weathers now resides over an hour away from Belton, he continues to make the trip once a week to assist with teaching and to receive his own personal training. David says, “Tang Soo Do has been great for my general health and well being and I am glad to be able to train here in Belton.  My hope is to be a positive, educational influence to all of my students both at my profession and here in the dojang, and to have some fun along the way”. © Belton Martial Arts Academy 2016 Made with MAGIX
